Silicone Beads Australia was founded in 2013 under the business name Pookie Baby. With a flair for colour and design, I was frustrated by the lack of Australian suppliers of silicone beads and on-trend colour options. It became quickly apparent that there were a lot of Australian makers in the same boat, and since importing our first shipment of beads we have rapidly grown to become Australia's la

rgest supplier. In 2015 the decision was made to farewell the Pookie Baby brand and focus purely on silicone products. In doing so, we have been able to put all our energy into offering our customers the biggest and best range of silicone beads and teethers of the highest quality available. Although Silicone Beads Australia has grown to the point where I have welcomed several staff to the team, I am determined to maintain our small family business values and high level of personal customer service. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!
So I had a little boo-boo on Friday and got pinned under some warehouse shelves that fell from the trailer. A trip in the ambulance to hospital followed by plastic surgery Friday night to mend my partially degloved right forearm 😩
What does this mean regarding orders?
As I have recently gone back to being a one woman show (impeccable timing, especially with currently moving warehouses), I will be relying on my teenage kids and hubby to fulfil orders under my supervision while my right arm is completely unusable. Obviously due to school commitments, the kids will help in the afternoons/evenings so we will not be shipping orders out as quickly as you’re used to. There will be a 1 or 2 day at most delay for several months while I heal. Thank-you so much for your continued support, it means the world ❤️

We’re on the move!
After 7 years at Paxton Way, we picked up the keys to our new warehouse this morning. Now I’m staring down the barrel of moving a billion beads and all the fixtures 😭 We’ve done one load and decided to go to the pub to recover 😂 There will be no interruption to order processing, we will be halting pickups for a week while we move the majority of stuff. Pickups will resume from my home in Secret Harbour, with a 1-3 day turnaround.
