Applegate Cottage Quilts Gillian Whaites We are an online Patchwork Supplies and Machine Quilting business located in the beautiful city of Port Lincoln on the West Coast of South Australia.

Our Studio is open by appointment. Please email or phone to make a time to visit. My personal quilting journey started in 2000. I have always been a keen knitter and embroiderer and sewed regularly since I was 5. I joined a group of ladies at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills near my home and immediately became hooked. The warmth and camaraderie of Quilters is renowned. I honed my skills and after we "retired" to Pt Lincoln I purchased my Gammill Longarm machine with a Statler Stitcher Computerised system on a 12ft frame. I am continually learning this art and I am a member of the Australian Machine Quilters Association. I have 5000+ patterns at my disposal and I am involved in a continuing personal education programme so that I can offer my customers the best possible service.

We are doing this to help make things as easy as possible after we are gone.
