For the queen of colour, I still do love a monochrome palette!! Picture perfect Pyrmont - from a daggy 1990's apartment to a slick new sanctuary, the redesign was aimed at creating a quiet space to deal with the thriving pace of this eclectic suburb.

Every corner of this small space exhibits an eclectic array of lifetime memories and memorabilia, cosy nooks have been created throughout the 3 level apartment so all that inhabit have space for quiet time on their own.

The redesign of the previous tight and dis-functional kitchen was designed to be all inclusive, accommodating all the day to day modern kitchen comforts.

Sweet Summer Hill; once a hospice for aging men, with multiple dark and dingy rooms, a tiny kitchen that took over a bedroom & one old dunny out the back, we went to style town in creating this warm and vibrant freestanding federation home, that now works beautifully for the beautiful people, who now live in a home that is full of sunshine, light and memorabilia.

Another dreadful & daggy rear extension was knocked down to create a large, well laid out kitchen, pantry, living and dining space that is now rich in colour and quirk.

My favourite place - the plush window seat which looks out to the beautiful garden green 😍

& to my favourite splash back - I still love you so!

Blissful Burradoo, this is the fourth time around the sun with the fabulous Shelley & Paul and their 4 children! Having met the family at their Rozelle property in the early 2000’s we went on to create a family friendly home and space which not only lent itself to practical and functional area's, but a space and direction that encompassed a unique style and direction which the family felt comfortable with and grew with, until it was time to move to a bigger space and area, being Burradoo.

From here we went about creating a unique homestead that was quirky, eclectic and layered with colour and razzle dazzle.

Next stop, a modern apartment in the city, creating a home away from home for Paul to save the long commutes. Whilst athe masculine domain was stylish the aim was ro create warmth within the space by enveloping the space with warmth, texture colour and pattern.

We have now embarked on the expansion of the Burradoo home, stage 3 - the home becoming a more practical and functional space with the addition of family fabulous gazebo and pool + a 2nd story over the garage -perfect for the family and their guests.

Super Cool Clovelly - having arrived in Sydney from New York the fabulous Maweeha (as I like to call her ) came with containers full of art works & crazy collectables, along with her two daughters, being the start of a fresh new life and lifestyle.

The Art Deco block had been renovated and of course the result was bland bland bland & bare bare bare!!! But bland no more, the inspiration and result came from the larger than life Maria and her fabulous art collection and Maria's larger than life personality 😍 and I was so thrilled to be able to take this one to the limits, thank you darling Maria, not only did we create magic together we created a lifetime of beautiful friendship ❤️

Beautiful Bronte: “This is not your house this is not your life!” The transformation of Miss G's neglected grand old dame had begun, out of the fire came the phoenix and what a beautiful eclectic bird this home blossomed into.

Although the original Victorian period features of the home were in pretty good shape there was still a great deal of tender love and care needed to restore this lovely lady.

With rotting floors, neglected windows which were not either closing or opening and fireplaces which were out of commission, and the ugly add on at the rear to deal with, which required full demolition. In the process of trying to repair and restore the home my build team literally fell through the rotten bathroom floor, which I must say was one of the most ugly ensuite's I have ever seen, so brown so drab with a dreadful floor plan.

We discovered that the downlights in the ceiling had only hours before they literally lit the whole ceiling up, and with a kitchen the size of a single bedroom, the range hood had never been vented, it was all so wrong!!!

But wow look at me now 😍 and thank you gorgeous miss G, for the opportunity to bring life and vigour into your home and day to day ❤️

& now onto the next one...

Part Four Before and After -
PROJECT COOGEE, built in the 60's with a nasty renovation done in the 80's it was sad to see the unit’s condition, but yet so inspiring to visualise what it should and would become.
One of my greatest days- the knock down of the ghastly bathroom-goodbye corner spa bath & the rest!!! They said it couldn’t be done –create a stylish roomy bathroom with what we had to work with?? Ha! what a beautiful compact bathroom it is now, and the key to this triumph was taking out an ancient linen cupboard in the entryway to increase the space and to push through the 2nd bedroom wall, giving the bathroom and extra 4m2 front and side to house the plumbing & goodbye swing door & hello slider!
