NEW! SUNPRINT TO STORY: CYANOTYPE AS COLLAGE

Join local mixed media artist Sue Bradshaw for a hands-on workshop making cyanotype sunprints and collage. You’ll unite light, objects and paper to create a visual story.
Open to all skill levels, this workshop invites you to bring small objects and images to weave into your story. If you are not sure where to begin, Sue will offer inspiration, guidance, and a range of examples to spark ideas.
By day’s end, each student will leave with a finished sunprint story of their own.

I'm looking forward to welcoming 8 creative souls to my studio on Saturday for a day of eco-dyeing on pottery. Previously I've used iron or copper to help extract the colours from the plants. After a little experimentation this week I can now offer iron over copper resulting in a beautiful grey/green/rust and black combination like these vessels. Plant used here is a pink grevillea in full flower
