Sara and Craig welcomed their Grandson with a bear made from beautiful-to-work-with stretchy corduroy and a cute animal print. Placed inside the bear were small pieces of fabrics that were sentimental to the family, belonging to parents, grandparents, great grandparents and even a great, great aunt! Got a mysterious pile of “I’ll fix that later” lurking in the corner? 👀🧵

You know the one… the shirt missing a button, the hem that’s gone rogue, the little tear that’s been “temporary” for 6 months.

Alongside my memory bears, I’m now offering small sewing fixes to help bring those forgotten pieces back to life. Buttons, simple repairs, little tweaks… the kind of jobs that make a big difference but never seem to get done.

I am so very nearly up to date with all of my orders, working on my last request for Michelle. So if you’ve been waiting for a better time to have your very own bespoke bear made, now is the time!

Today I handed over a tricky dicky bear to Gina but boy was it fun! It was a double sided jumper meaning that you could wear it one way, turn it inside out and you had another jumper, completely unbeknownst to Gina. It was her Dad’s jumper and the first anniversary of his passing is coming up shortly so a meaningful gift for her Mum. I hope she loves it 🙂🧸

Louise ordered bears alongside the multitude of love hearts at Christmas time. Her Grandfather was a keen golfer and belonged to the Chequers Golf Club in Bullsbrook. I’ve placed commemorative patches onto her bears from the golf club that have been kept for many, many years. Thank you Louise for your custom, hope the family loved their keepsakes.

Carol is back for another bear, this time for a very close friend who lost her husband recently. Can’t say it enough, I love working with flannel. It’s soft and sturdy and a joy to be able to make a huggable keepsake.
