The original batch of four wren pieces are ready for a coat of penetrol. Only another 18 to go 😳. Orders are coming in thick and fast which was not expected.

I've got my work cut out for the next couple of weeks making these and after that it may be a long time before I make any more.

So if you are hesitating on whether to get one I recommend you do because I'm not too sure when I'll get round to making more. I've got lots of other artwork to be getting on with.

OK all you wren lovers out there and those who have been pestering me for these. This is the closest I will get to making a wren on its own.

This piece is ideally mounted on a wall indoor or out. It is 50cm in diameter and the depth will be between 7-9cm. The weight is 7kg if you are thinking of postage.

The price for this one is $450

I'll be making 4 of these to see how they go.

I have falling for this a few times before where people ask, 'can you make them on there own?', for which ever creature I add to my art and have been left with artwork that takes a long time to sell due to the price.

If I say I can not make them due to the price point, believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

So I'm expecting a flood of people due to the previous messages I received, wanting these or they are going to be on the shelf for a little while 🤣🤣

I decided to make a smaller version of the wattle blossom sculpture.

It measures 2.1m high by 1.4m across.

It has a heavy base so you can move it around each year if that flicks your switch 😛

It will weather like it's larger one.

Made to last as all my sculptures are with good quality heavy gauge steel.

I'll be bringing this one to the markets next month.

The wattle sculpture is looking particularly fine this morning 😊

This sculpture is 3.2m high and 2.4m across. It has a heavy gauge octagonal steel base corten leaves and stainless steel wattle blossoms.

The price for this one is $9,250.

Delivery and installation is included within the Perth metro area.

I'll be mostly at the Kalamunda Artisan Market today.

It's a lovely sunny fresh day 😎

I've brought loads of the new angels and lots more so come and have an adventure in the Perth hills.

I'll be making these for the next few days.

I make the steel part and my partner Kerry makes the glass part.

I would have liked to bring some to the Kalamunda Artisan Market tomorrow but they won't be ready in time.

We took 4 of these to the Perth Garden Show this year and they went in the first couple of hours.

These are approx 40cm in diameter and are priced at $275 at the moment.
