I did eventually finish this and I will post a photo in the comments later. It was not a fun experience for either of us, but I did learn a lot that has stuck with me over the years.
The grid method still hurts my brain and damages my soul and I am pretty sure this was the first and last time I did it -

So it’s the Wednesday before my Sunday workshop and have I checked things off my eleventy lists….why yes I have! I have sorted easels, clipboards, paper for clipboards, eaten the sweet treats that were for the workshop participants, added buy sweet treats to tomorrow’s to do list, along with sorting name tags and canvas prep.
Might call it a night and get ready for my workaday tomorrow.

If you have still been seeing ads for my workshop this weekend I apologise, there is no way (that I have found) to cancel the ad.
