Introducing ....... Mahktire Madre or "Mahk".
After the sudden loss of our beloved Doc in Feb, we were grieving pretty hard.
Some interesting circumstances led to us ending up with this not-so-little guy (and yes, he is already as big as Jet our GWP).
It has not been easy for many reasons, and we are still taking it little by little, BUT HE'LL BE RIGHT!
WELL, here he is: our giant infant Wolfhound "Mahk" 👍

From my late grandparents shed to the NKH workshop:
I have just received this trio of retro ramekins (although I think they may have actually been soup bowls?).
I think we should make a reclaimed wooden serving board to house them, and use the lot for our next South American cook up. I am already imagining it ........ chimichurri, pebre salsa, guasacaca.........

It's a great little saying, and quite a common parting sentiment for many of the visitors to our lovely little part of the world. Yes, Rutherglen is so much more than just the home of NK HINDLE DESIGNS.......We also boast world renowned fortified and table wines, hatted restaurants, art galleries, layered history, exciting outdoor activities and gold rush streetscapes. So, if you haven't been already, you Muscat organised to visit, and if you have, you know that you Muscat back here soon! 😃

All items are made right here in Rutherglen from upcycled / reclaimed materials (even the packaging is recycled!) Well, it's been a whirlwind! We have delivered brand new one-of-a-kind pieces to our great friends at Rutherglen Gift and Produce Shop and they are already getting snapped up! We have so many items that have already been sold and making their way under people's Chrissy Trees as we speak.... BUT IT'S NOT TOO LATE! Get on down to the Information Centre, and see what is in store now! Remember, all of our pieces are one of a kind, and made right here in Rutherglen from reclaimed, upcycled and recycled materials.
(Shout out to Corowa Distilling Co. as we have used their stunning glassware in our first photo - you can buy these beautiful etched Glencairn glasses over at the distillery)
