With Father’s Day this Sunday, it’s the perfect chance to pick up something beautiful and fresh! 💐

Our gorgeous flowers are coming from the wonderful Macadamia Flower Farm and will be available out the front of Makers on Main, 48 Main Street.

🕣 From 8:30am until 12 noon — or until sold out!

Jenny Barnes’ beautiful bird vases are back!

And we have four gorgeous ones in store at the moment! ❤️

We’ve got an owl, kingfisher, parrot and cockatoo, all beautifully handmade and ready to find their new homes.

We also have the cutest little kingfisher figurine available too! 🥰

These were incredibly popular last time and sold out very quickly, so if you’ve had your eye on one, don’t wait too long!

We love giving you space to browse.

One of the things I really want people to feel when they come into Makers on Main is that they can just relax and have a good wander around.

There is so much to look at, and honestly, sometimes you just want to browse without someone following you around asking if you need help every two minutes! 😂

I’ll always say hello and welcome you into the shop, but then I’m quite happy to let you have a good look around.

Take your time.

Pick things up.

Have another look.

Walk away and then come back to something you spotted earlier. 😂

Sometimes you’re looking for a gift and have absolutely no idea what you want.

Sometimes you just want to wander around and see what catches your eye.

And sometimes you do need a bit of help — maybe you want to know who made something, need something taken down, or just want a bit of advice.

That’s when I’m here! 💕

I never want anyone to feel pressured into buying something or feel like they’re being watched while they’re browsing.

I want Makers on Main to be somewhere you can pop into, have a wander, discover something new and just enjoy looking around.

So take your time — there’s no rush here. 🌿

My Father’s Day Pick from Makers on Main!

How absolutely sensational is this original oil painting by Peter Campbell! The creativity in this piece is incredible, capturing a beautiful seagull soaring up and out of the wild ocean, surrounded by swirling waves and movement.

The gorgeous blues, whites and textures make you feel like you’re right there by the sea, and the way Peter has created the ocean is simply mesmerising.
