Shop wisely this Black Friday...

There's no shame in buying something special you've had your eye on, or a unique gift you know someone will love (if it can't be found preloved of course!).

However, if engaging in Black Friday sales this week, let's remember the waste it creates too, and shop as mindfully as possible.
These questions may help!

Up to 80 per cent of items – and any plastic packaging they are wrapped in – will end up either in landfill, incineration or – at best – low quality recycling, often after a very short life, according to research from Green Alliance in the UK.

Most of the resources they are made from will only get one use before being wasted.
