Pretty Kooky Unique modern Macrame, designed and handmade with love in Melbourne, Australia. Hello and welcome to our Pretty Kooky world!!!

We are a husband and wife team based in Melbourne, Australia and crafts from the past are a passion of ours. We design, create and share our love for the popular 70's fibre art of macrame and also the mini worlds of terrariums (coming soon!!!). We love using our hands, getting them dirty and also the occasional blister. Pretty Kooky specialises in designing our own style of macrame from plant hangers to large wall hangings and our terrariums can range from a single plant to a giant micro ecosystem. We love to do custom orders and hire options are also available, so please don't hesitate to contact us with any inquiry. We hope you have a fun and Kooky time looking through our products. This was a huge undertaking... hands hurt, regret my time away from the rack, need to harden up or stop doing my knots so damn tight. Many, many hours, knots done, undone, redone. It as a fun adventure, I’m just so happy to be creating again.

Finished product ended up 99cm wide x 150cm long and not exactly how I planned, but better

Did you know I still do workshops? Maybe not because I’m pretty bad at this social media thing. But today I did a sold out workshop with these beautiful ladies and it was great. I still have spots in my next workshop on the 21st Oct. I will add dates for my future workshops very soon. Or you can check out and find me there and you can even request your own dates if you have a group.
