I love being back in Sydney for my annual French Antiques Exhibition sale in my old shop at 3 Burnt st Seaforth! I have a 200 sq metre wharehouse in Talant just 15 minutes away from my house in Dijon, France. Back in Sydney I am meeting up again with customers from 30 years back and it is wonderful.....

My second container of French Antiques arrives today.. make sure you get in soon as there are some amazing pieces at amazing prices!! SEPTEMBER ONLY! Strategically placing an antique piece and it becomes a work of art in a modern setting.....There are many happy customers whom are very creative. Bev here upholstered the backs of her louis XV armchairs with some serviettes I had from an estate in Dijon where there were 30 linen sheets and dozens of different table cloths and serviettes, pillow cases and cushion covers...large H**p dining tablecloths even red and white linnen doona covers!! Then she purchased a Petrin, dough bin in Oak and Fruitwood. She simply placed the lid on the legs removing the middle and created a mid 19th century coffee table that never existed......... www.treasurehouse.com.au

Ok container arrived and was unpacked today, Friday the 26th of July. Sale will begin on Saturday the 3rd of August! Photos to come....

Ok, I am very proud of this loading, 16 tables in the space of the largest one! and plenty more. Only trouble now is the quarantine have ordered yesterday the "unpack and inspect" to check the timber out, even though the entire container will be fumigated, just like the last 12 times........ as by law. Why not unpack it at 3 burnt St, my shop, where they can have a look at everything as I carefully un-weave it and have it at my shop at the same time!!!! Everybody wins............

Love it when I find Tongan Rugby players in France.... Ephraim and Thomas were awesome! Ifa coaches Beaune rugby south of Dijon. These guys were awesome!
