A familiar face to some of our regulars — Milo, third generation at Beilby’s.

He’s been testing the furniture since he was little, and these days he also takes his Saturday showroom duties pretty seriously, helping customers find the right fit.

For us, keeping Australian manufacturing alive means making furniture properly, supporting local skills, and building something worth passing on.

Hopefully, one day, all of this will be his.

Here’s another look at the Slate Sofa System. Visually simple once finished, which is always a good sign, because it definitely wasn’t the easiest thing to build.

It’s layered and built around a strong horizontal rhythm, with the upholstery doing a lot of the visual work. Get in touch for product enquiries.
