The Fabric and Me.
One weekend my sister dragged me along to a Quilters Retreat, didn’t think anything of it but then I got hooked on the unique beauty of what a a piece of fabric can become. After messing around and ruining a few table runners I moved on to making a t-shirt Quilt for one of my sons out of his old ‘Stewie’ shirts. This took me about 6 weeks of sweat and tears to get it together but gosh it was worth it, he still has it to this day.
A creative opportunity to express my artistic side. To make something that no one will make again the same way, everything unique to my ideas.
