I’m Mikaela, or Maki 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m the Founder & Artist here at Ochre Dough but being Aunty Maki is the best role yet 💞⁣
⁣
Although I am a dog mum and that comes pretty close too …. 😜⁣
⁣
This is me with my niece Charlie who just turned 1! She’s a little cheeky sweetheart. I can’t wait to get her feedback on Aunty’s Playdough Mix 👌🏽

I love seeing how creative you get but also how much effort some of you put in to create a beautiful experience for children or groups of people 🤗 That’s what I’d hoped our resources would support you to do. ⁣
⁣
I know so many people have baked 100s of salt dough ornaments or air dry clay ornaments for different events using our stamps this year 🙌🏽 😅 You the real MVP! ⁣
⁣
I love seeing what you’re creating and setting up so please always feel free to send me a message! ⁣

We have lots of left over Kinder Kit stamps in our clearance sale, happening on our website now 💖⁣
⁣
Now that it’s all over and I’ve had some time to reflect, I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity 🙏🏽 Getting messages from families who got one in their kits this year was just so lovely! ⁣
⁣
To think my artwork and resource is being enjoyed in homes and classrooms all across Victoria makes me very proud. Proud of who I am, where I’ve come from and the creative expression that I get to share because of the gifts my family has passed on to me. ⁣
⁣
And the journey with family and friends to get it done was the best part 🥰

Making bracelets and necklaces was one of my fav activities when I was a kid 🥰⁣
⁣
I was hoping to have our beads in time for all the NAIDOC week craft activities, but they’re here now! I just need to get some labels and upload them to our website 🙌🏽❤️
