Time to craft!
I’ve been playing around with clear silicone and moulds and made a few ocean 🌊 themed embellishments and added them to three 12x12 layouts of our Kiama (Bombo) day out.
Prima Sparks paints worked perfectly to add the colour. They tuned out super pretty. 😍

Just a quick message to all the wonderful ladies who were at our Retreat into Paradise this past weekend. I want to express my gratitude to all of you for an amazing weekend. 🌺

What I truly loved during these past few days is the incredible sense of community we share. Witnessing the connections and support flowing among all of you has been truly heartwarming. 💖 I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful group of ladies.

Thank you all for making this weekend so special, 🥰 from the laughter and stories shared to the support given and the memories we have created.

A reminder, the next retreat is in Feb 2024. I'll be posting more details soon.

Guess what? Tropical Trivia will be the flavour and is making a return, and it's none other than the brilliant Beverley who will be the quizmaster extraordinaire.

But wait, there's more! 🤩

Hold onto your beach hats, because I've got a surprise game up my sleeve that's never seen the light of day at our retreat before. It's a "first-time-for-everything" kind of game, and I've got a hunch it's going to be a blast! 🚀🌟

Get ready to ride the tropical wave of fun challenges at this retreat! 🍍🌴🎉

I would love for you to join in on the tropical-tastic challenges. They're easier than sipping a coconut cocktail on a sunny beach. 🌞🏆🌺

Here are some hints to help you!

1: Create a 12 x 12 layout using the sketch provided. You will need to scrap 3 photos and incorporate frames, doilies, and die cuts into the layout. Use coloured sprays and add some stitching.

Challenge 2: Create a 12 x 12 layout in the beloved Pocket Page style, but this time, let's skip the pocket sleeve for a unique twist. For inspiration and guidance, there will be a sample which you can find on the challenge table.

More information on the other two challenges will be available at the retreat in the guide. Here are some hints for the other two challenges.

Challenge three hints - bring some old die-cuts and embellishments, ribbons, brads, twine, stickers, and 3D tape.

Don't forget our Creative Day is on this Sunday!. Anna Montgomery has kindly offered to run the make n take project! which is an elegant, folded card.

While I'll provide cardstock, paper and embellishments, feel free to bring your own card and your preferred patterned paper if you'd like a more personalised, coordinated look. Also bring any embellishments you'd like to use.

Hello everyone, I wanted to provide a brief update regarding the Facebook situation. I'm pleased to say that everything has been restored, including my personal page, business page, and group. 🥳

Now, I'm in the process of planning the smooth transition back to all of them. I cannot express enough how meaningful the crafting community group is to me, and I'm so grateful to have all those cherished memories back on my personal page. 🌈🌼

In the coming days, you'll notice posts resuming in the community group.

As for the Inner Circle business page, I'll be actively using it until after the November retreat and then will most likely move back to the Scrap of Your Life business page.

It appears that my determination ultimately paid off as just before I left for our holiday, I logged yet another support request with Facebook. This experience of the last 6 months served as a reminder that, sometimes, it's the continuous efforts and unwavering 'not giving up attitude' can lead to the most wonderful outcomes.🌟
