> Short answer: yes. Long answer: you're probably already looking at it.
> At Sorell Antiques and Collectibles, 15 Somerville St, most of the tables, display cabinets, sideboards, bookshelves and hall stands that our stock is sitting on... are actually for sale too.
> We are a co-op of 15 dealers, and we've been here since the early 80s. It's not a museum display — it's a working shop. If you like the cabinet holding the Pyrex, or the oak table under the vinyl, just ask. We can price it, and we can help move it.
> And no, we're not just antiques. You'll find vintage, retro, collectibles, jewellery, toys, records and the odd 70s lamp along the way.

> Our friends at The Preloved Market Tassie are back at Elwick Racecourse in Glenorchy for their pre-loved market — Saturday 9th May, 11am–3pm
> It's a proper curated mix of vintage, retro and preloved gems, and it's all about keeping good clothes and homewares in circulation instead of landfill.
> If you're clearing out, grab a stall. If you're hunting, bring a tote and a gold coin. We'll be popping down ourselves — come say hi if you spot us!

Our stallholders will be selling handmade, upcycled, preloved, vintage and retro collectibles, clothing, plants and homewares. Something for everyone.

Hey everyone, it’s that time of year again!! Just a friendly heads-up that we'll be closed this Good Friday, March 3rd of April.

We really appreciate your understanding! It's one of only two days a year we close our doors, so we'll be back open at 10am on Saturday. Hope you all have a wonderful long weekend!

𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀!

This weekend our town becomes the hub of adventure as The Tassie Event 2026, Tasmania’s first-ever 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, takes over South East Stadium, Pembroke Park.

Expect to see lots of people peering under park benches and checking behind trees - geocachers from across Australia and overseas will be hunting for hidden “caches” all around town! 🧭

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴?
It’s a real-world treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants follow coordinates to find hidden geocaches - and there are over 200 geocaches right here in Sorell, with around 4,500 across Tasmania.

Even if you’re new to geocaching, there’ll be an information desk on site at the Stadium to introduce beginners and locals to this fun hobby.

💡 Bonus: With hundreds of visitors descending on Sorell, it’s a great boost for local cafés, shops, and accommodation - so keep an eye out for extra friendly faces in town!
