Not every project needs exactly the same thing from me – so I’ve built my way of working, around that.

Some of you are building from the ground up and want me to curate a design from start to finish, and have me alongside you throughout the journey. Others know exactly what they want, and just need a helping hand and a guide to get them started. And some just need a focused session to affirm their selections to move forward with confidence.

Introducing: The Residence, The Foundations and The Design Consultation – each style of guidance is shaped around where you’re at in your journey and the scope of your project, because I understand it’s not a one-size-fits-all process.

Head to my website or email me at [email protected] if you’re not sure which one fits you best ✨

Ready to get started? I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I know I’m not the only one saying “how are we already at the end of August?!”

So here’s a little look back on the magic behind the scenes of the last wintery month ✨

Obsessed with this wallpaper from Gimmersta Wallpaper’s Atelier

Assisting The Design Consultation clients with final selections 👌🏻

Celebrated 7 years with my partner and visited KIN

A chance to pop on some heels and enjoy the sunshine! Also the colour and wear of these bricks gives me 😍

Received my amazing branding images from an impromptu sesh with the wonderful Australian wedding + lifestyle photographer Valentine Archive Studio

Mini concepts created for Middleton’s Carpets | Wodonga Flooring Store new range of Galet 😍

This probably doesn’t describe how many iced strawberry matchas I’ve had this month 💁🏻‍♀️

Final selections meeting at Charleroi with the sweetest clients

These selections have been living rent free in my head since I started working with these clients!

What a difference for the Project Lakeview Kitchen, featuring 2-PAC shaker profiles, engineered Benchtops and (my fave) clay Zellige tiles ✨

A small detail that makes a big difference: a porcelain clad shadow-line.

Without it, the chunky 90mm bench top would have felt heavy. The shadowline gives it a moment to breathe — a break in the porcelain instead of one continuous mass.

Wrapped in Caesarstone Australia Marbannova porcelain, shadowline included.

If this is the detail you’re looking for in your project, let’s talk — link in bio.

Strawberry iced matchas, a soft spot for clay zellige, and a (good) habit of noticing beautiful design everywhere I go — that’s me, more or less.

I’m Brooke, founder of The Sanctuary Interior Design. If you’re new here, consider this your quick introduction to me — and if it resonates, you’ll find my work and how to enquire on my website — link in bio.

Occupational hazard: I’m embarrassing to take anywhere new. I’ll stop mid-conversation to stare at a building 💁🏻‍♀️

I can’t walk past the way light falls across a room, or a beautiful tile pattern, without stopping to take it in. I’ll never get tired of it, honestly.

This is exactly why I notice the details most people miss - it’s the whole job.
If you want that same eye on your next project, head to the link in bio and let’s talk more.

Project Lake House ticked over twelve months old back in March, and what a pleasure it was to be involved in this stunning project ✨

With that in mind, here are my favourite kitchen details;

🤍 The range hood - a minimalist plaster finish, setting the tone for the kitchen.

🤍 The floors - a gorgeous engineered oak supplied by with a subdued warmth, perfect for family and farm living.

🤍 The chunky island + benchtop as splashback - the perfect place for gathering with daily life, kids, family and friends (it gets used A LOT 😉) and with easy to wipe surfaces, Marbannova was a winner.

🤍 The custom 15mm shaker profile - a contemporary take on the traditional shaker, keeping a touch of classic country living in the selections.

Dreaming of a kitchen that feels both beautiful and built for everyday life? Let’s chat. ✨
