YARRA VALLEY HOUSE //

Set in Victoria's picturesque Yarra Valley, this large family home was completely gutted from the inside out, the interior and palette now beautifully capturing the colours of its surrounding landscape and breathtaking vineyard views.

Mid-Century House //

Embracing an understated Palm Springs vibe, our design approach celebrated the abundance of natural light and unique 360-degree views through the house by focusing the plan around the internal courtyard as the natural asset.

The client’s strong desire to move away from the mid-century pastiche led the interpretation of finishes to focus around teak-stained oak reminiscent of the 60s mixed with leathered granite, verdant marble, upsized mirrors and swathes of alabaster white paint to bounce the light around. Lovingly completed in stages over 4 years, it’s a home we hope Slim Arons would want to hang out in.

Art House //

This double storey corner block terrace presented an unusual opportunity when resolving the classic terrace spatial conundrum.

A master suite was created by converting the second bedroom to a new WIR & ensuite, moving the 3rd bedroom to the rear with central bath & rumpus overlooking the courtyard. Whilst the rear section of the ground floor was extended to the boundary to expand the laundry, kitchen and pantry.

A contemporary edge was injected into the interior with new steel framed doors and windows throughout including a beautiful arched window to the master. The client’s burgeoning art collection was curated to sit alongside new furniture classics, lighting, rugs & accessories.
