Not the prettiest pictures today, but this candle is the reality of not trimming your wicks. If your wicks aren't trimmed before each burn, they will end up being too long and creating a larger flame. In turn they will blacken the jar and create black soot on your candle
Not only is your pretty candle now looking worse for wear, it will also shorten the life of the candle and can be a major hazard in the jar heating up too much 🔥
So if you'd like to keep your candle looking pretty and burning it's best, ensure that trim your wicks to 5mm before each burn
P.S - If your candle looks like this, it's never to late to fix it. Simply wipe the soot with a damp cloth and trim your wicks! Easy fixed and you'll be back to a pretty and safe candle in no time
