I had always wanted to make a quilt. Most people would learn to quilt using strips of coordinating fabric and sewing them together. BUT, I’m not most people 😜. I am self taught (YouTube and Pinterest) and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Is it perfect….no. But the top is made from 100% reclaimed doilies, lace, fabric, buttons and thread. I’m guessing that I would have spent 300+ hours creating the finished product and it now sits proudly on my bed as a reminder of days gone by and that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it

I take great pleasure in turning artistic vision into a reality. This cloche is an excellent example of upcycling, created from a repurposed glass shade, the rear of a vintage Cobb and Co clock, and a decorative finial. Given the discerning style of my friend's friend, I believe the cloche fits remarkably well within her interior design scheme.
