The knowledge of weaving doesn’t come from textbooks or screens. It is carried through touch, observation, and time. Passed down from family, friends, community members, and mentors. Some weavers also learn by watching the practice unfold again and again.
Weaving is both technical and deeply intuitive. This skill is still very much alive in Ghana today, in both cities and villages. A beautiful tradition carried into modern life.
