Why do I love designing joinery?

I love the challenge of solving the clients’ storage needs while also creating something beautiful, well crafted, fully resolved. Study nooks, bedroom storage, creative book shelves and display options….

Nothing makes me happier than seeing truly functional joinery enhancing my clients’ daily life while also integrating seamlessly into their interior.

To give weight to the 20 mm benchtop on the huge three metre island as well as accomodate the curves, we added an extra timber profile to the underside. It's a more economical way to achieve the illusion of a thicker top and provides the opportunity for the nice shadow line detail seen here. ⁠
And our clever joiners built these gentle curves into the base, making the corners of the island a thing of beauty! 🤩⁠
