🖌️🪥🧹🖋️🖍️🖊️ Anyone up for a little game?

Different tools for different marks, no tool better than another, just different for each purpose!

Just for fun of you like, copy, paste & share! I've shared mine below!

👉My Cheapest tool: A found stick to use
👉My most commonly used tool: Round hog Bristle size 12 (cheap and cheerful!)
👉My favourite tool: Large Filbert bristle from an English company that isn't making them anymore 🥲
👉Tool I want to get: broad stroke bristle 6" (arriving in-store next month!)
👉Other fun thing: I love the marks of oil pastels but I don't use a tool for them 😁

🕶️🎩🏴🥼🕊️🔳 How differently and vastly difficult colour becomes when you can't see it!

💭 I'm working on a piece for the Black and White exhibition here at The SRAG gallery later in the year pioneered by Laurie's Larrikins, and I've been pondering for a while about how art can be interpreted differently through language, texture, emotions, intuition and of course, colour. How else may we adapt our communication if we've so heavily relied on colour! What a lovely opportunity to work in this way! Stay tuned!

🌾🍅🫒🌿🪾🍂We have such a fantastic array of local produce and condiments here on the Granite Belt, and to add to that range we have some Australian Native Herbs and spices that we've bought into the store. Alot of these are grown in different parts of Australia, as our climate doesn't necessarily facilitate best growing conditions for them. BUT what a joy to live in the day and age where we are blessed to be able to access such wonderful things from both near and afar!!

✂️✉️ - I recently did a large watercolour work called "A piece of something bigger" and I decided to trim it down and sell it as cards each with a piece of "Something bigger". Maybe one day in the long and distant future when all the letters have been written, and all the cheer has been gifted, and the time has rolled onwards, they'll be reunited together after they've all done their journey.

To many thoughts for just a bunch of cheeky cards? Who knows! But there it is!

Nab a card with a piece of something bigger today, support an artist in your life and share encouragement and the good faith wherever you go!
