We are back in the office tomorrow. But this is a little flashback post of a pre hand over shot taken end of last year. This was a renovation project of ours in Highgate. Note the stunning black frames and timber cladding along with the copper dome from the Orthodox Church in the window reflections.

As this year races along and comes to a close, it is also a closure on an amazing individual's life.

My business partner, and long-time friend, Yael Kurlansky, passed away on December 10th 2021. Knowing her meant a lot to not only my professional growth but just having another person who understood the challenges of “Truly Great Design”.

Yael’s passion and creativity are evident in the built history of Yael K, the numerous awards, and the loving clients, she will be remembered, embraced and missed. I don't know why things happen the way they do, but my life, and working closely with Yael for over 13 years were made better because of working with her.

YK & Associates will continue forward embracing Yael’s ethos on timeless design & lifestyle homes, so please feel free to contact us any time OR come see us in our Subiaco office to experience the truly high standard we have always been known for.

We thank you for your support & dealings throughout the year and look forward to seeing you again in 2022.
