KMC Garden & Design is looking for a casual team member to join our crew!

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, takes pride in their work and enjoys being outdoors.

The role includes:
• Lawn mowing & edging
• Hedging & pruning
• Weeding & general garden maintenance
• Planting & garden clean-ups
• Assisting with irrigation and garden projects

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a great work ethic and attention to detail
• Is reliable and punctual
• Is physically fit and happy working outdoors
• Is friendly and professional with clients
• Holds a current driver’s licence
• Garden maintenance/horticulture experience is preferred, but not essential for the right person

📍 Working across Sunbury, Gisborne, Macedon Ranges and surrounding areas.

This is a casual position, with hours varying depending on workload and the potential for more regular hours for the right person.

One of the best parts of what we do is meeting incredible people and creating outdoor spaces they truly love.

This project was extra special. We had the pleasure of working with the most warm, kind, and funny couple, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. It’s clients like these that make what we do so rewarding.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately…

Firstly, apologies for the lack of posts! We’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes looking after our amazing clients, completing projects, and keeping gardens looking their best. We truly appreciate everyone’s continued support.

A common misconception is that gardens don’t need much attention during winter. In fact, winter is one of the most important times of the year for garden maintenance. The work you do now lays the foundation for a healthier, stronger, and more vibrant garden in spring.

July is the ideal time for:

Pruning citrus trees to improve airflow, shape, and fruit production.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our garden maintenance crew — with occasional soft landscaping work included.

🕒 Set Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
Enjoy a consistent schedule and a great work-life balance. No weekends. No late nights.

✨ About the Role
• General garden maintenance – mowing, w**ding, pruning, hedging, and more
• Occasional soft landscaping – planting, mulching, turfing, garden makeovers
• Assist with irrigation setup and repairs (training provided)
• Casual position to start, with opportunity for ongoing work
• Exposure to a wide range of tasks across the garden and landscape industry

🌱 We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
✅ Genuinely interested in garden care and landscaping
✅ Reliable and willing to work hard
✅ Licensed and has their own transport
✅ Great with time management and attention to detail
✅ Able to work both independently and in a team
✅ Confident following instructions and seeing tasks through , client satisfaction is key

🌿 Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is a bonus, but not essential!
