We intentionally choose to create small batches of our beeswax candles, to honour the craftsmanship, attention and time that beeswax deserves.

Just as the bees work diligently, with process, to build the hive, to produce the wax that makes the comb they live on, so we choose to follow on with such focus, time and presence when making our candles, because it’s fitting and honourable to do so!

It’s in alignment with a resource created 100% by nature alone. It’s what we know to be right, so it’s what we do!

It allows us, our brand, our beeswax candles to stay in harmony with the excellence of nature. And knowing that, is a gift that is of the highest value to us.

We have a hands on part in everything we do at Tree House Candles, from sourcing beeswax, to packing the candles, and managing our website.

In this day and age, some would call that folly, we call it integrity and a luxury that is seemingly lost in the world.

When we go to markets, festivals and special events, it’s always a wonderful opportunity to really have some great chats with people.

Nearly every time, there’s a conversation where people open up and share about themselves in ways that are really candid and deep, leaving a lasting impression on us, and them too.

We are gifted this amazing window into their world, because they feel seen enough to share.

Why you might ask? Well.. it’s because we already know our beeswax candles sell themselves, so we get to enjoy really connecting with people and asking them how a beeswax candles can fit into their world. Short burn? Long burn? Meditation? Gift? Dinner party? What they had in mind when they stopped at our stall.

Then we share which candles fit with that! It’s truly an incredible way to do business.

Along the way as we chat, we share how to burn beeswax candles (yes it’s a thing) and the vast benefits, and of course the bees!

We always come home on a high, our lives made richer by human connection and people’s stories.

Many of those conversations have led to friendships and ongoing reciprocity of life. And truly, isn’t that why we are here?
