Would you believe me is I told you that this crazy looking bug actually exists in real life?? No?

Hold on to your hats folks cause this crazy fella is a Giraffe Weevil and is very much alive and well, and living his best life in the forests of Madagascar. Hard to believe no body knew they even existed till their discovery in 2008🤯

Happy pattern release day Tuile the Turaco and - I had the absolute best time bringing this little guy to life.

Tuile (or Taco as my brain keeps trying to say) works up fairly quickly, with very detailed, easy to follow directions and lots of pictures for guidance.

I have a feeling I may be on a little bit of a mushroom kick at the moment 🍄🍄 (I blame for this!)

Finally got around to assembling this bad boy, who I have affectionately named Big Blue. He turned out so much bigger than I expected.

As the Christmas craziness begins to wind down in my household, I would like to take this moment to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!

The Crooked Shroom and Wee Fat Toad by pattern is now live!!

This kind hearted soul is a true child of the waterways and a guardian to all amphibians. Never alone, this Shroom seems to attract kindred spirits, as if by magic, and is never seen without at least one wee toad at its side🐸🍄

I had the absolute honour to test this pattern and I can tell you, from the bottom of my heart, that it’s a true work of art!

The pattern is easy to follow with lots of photos to guide along the way and with plenty of stitch variations to add interest, making this pattern perfect for almost anyone, no matter where you are in your crochet journey.

I had the absolute pleasure of testing again for and today is pattern release day! The Forest Gatherer pattern has officially dropped and is seriously irresistible! How could you not want to make your own army of weird squirrels (said with upmost affection)🐿️

Well then! Right back at ya there Alien 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

Don’t be fooled by this little guys cheeky gestures, they come in peace, just got a little confused on which fingers to hold up! After a little chat, we got it right✌🏼

This spunky little alien was a pattern test for - it worked up super quick, was a whole lot of fun to make and has buckets full of attitude!

Today is a good day! Why?? Because another dragon pattern has been released into the wild, that’s why!

Gustav is the October dragon from - if you haven’t already checked out the other dragons in this year of dragons series, I highly recommend taking a peek. And keep your eyes peeled because the year isn’t over yet!

Introducing Helen’s Garden Blanket! I started this baby as a pattern test over 2 months ago now and am so so happy to see it finally released into the wild!

It is a true journey, learning all the different stitches that blend together so well, many of which are inspired by flowers and the garden.

I have been a little quiet on here lately, not because I’m not crocheting as much as I possibly can, but because I’m pattern testing some amazing projects that I cannot wait to share with you! But for now, they must remain my little secrets🤫

However, I did find time in my busy schedule to create these amazing poppies, for a very special little Poppy🌸 These guys are on their way to their new home today. I hope you love them as much as I do💕
