Life is far too short to spend it waiting for “one day.” 🌿

Whatever you choose to do, I hope it brings you a little more peace than yesterday.

For me, that’s growing flowers on our little farm in the Southern Downs. Every seed, every bloom, and every sunrise reminds me to slow down.

If you’ve been following along from the very beginning, thank you. It means more than you know. 🤍 And if you’re new here, welcome. I’d love to have you join us as Fairview Flower Farm grows, one season at a time.

How cool is this space!

There’s something pretty special about seeing an idea finally come together.

Our bouquet bench is finished, and this little corner of the greenhouse is becoming the space where every bunch from Fairview Flower Farm will be wrapped by hand. 💐

It’s simple, practical, and exactly what we needed. We can’t wait to fill it with fresh flowers over the coming months.

One step closer. 🌸

I cut our first ranunculus this morning.

Not because they were ready for bouquets, but because the first flowers need to come off so the plant puts its energy into producing longer, stronger stems.

It felt a bit cruel after waiting so long to see them open, so they came inside instead. I’m not complaining though… if this is what the first flowers look like, I can’t wait to see what’s still to come.

Also… THAT yellow!!! 😍

Cutting off all of these potentials is just sadddd… de budding is an important part of the process to encourage stronger and longer stems butttt….
We get a sneak peak of the colours we have coming up at Fairview Flower Farm - I cannot wait to see these in full flush!

For now, a little bud arrangement for our house will have to do xx
