A sneaky peak inside our Little Kangaroo memory book.

After more than a year of hard work, our lovely book is finally released next week. The advanced copies we had flew out the door a few weeks ago and we can’t wait to pack up and ship out books to all our lovely customers who have ordered them since.

If you haven’t seen me talk about this book before, you might ask “where are all the boxes and why does it have a story?”

The whole idea of making a memory book for me was to do it differently. To use your beautiful photos as well as words to remember the journey, and instead of giving you boxes to fill in, a simple story gives the structure from page to page to guide you through the first two years with your little one.

It’s a little while since I did a timelapse, so here we go 😁

I find the slow pace of how a painting really comes together satisfying, but when you send it turbo like this it becomes a whole new thing, with a bit more dopamine and a lot less time waiting for paint to dry 😊

This not-so grizzly bear is one of the characters I am working on for our new book. Lots of work to go!

Just yesterday I was still deciding what our new book was going to be about, but already I love these guys. There’s SO MUCH work to do before we have a finished book, but I think it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Made for a mix of your photos and words to be added to bring the book to life, our memory book is less about filling in boxes and more about out the journey overall. I know the idea of having yet another job added to the list of daily tasks is no fun, and so I was determined to come up with a book that you could visit when you want to instead of it being an ever present ni**le at the back of your mind.

For most of us, snapping pics of the little moments as the days go by, comes as second nature. These are memories recorded already, so why not make the most of them?

I’ve just put a little help guide together for anyone that could do with a few pointers for easy ways to get your photos printed and added.
