Petals in the patch…

Spring felt a little more like Summer the last few days. The patch coped well (my first real test of things to come).

I’m cutting the last of the Stock ‘cherry blossom’; the crimson snapdragons are blooming; single variety dahlias are opening daily (the stems are a little shorter but they are great in bouquets and table centres); and the first of my ranunculus are popping up (which btw were supposed to be pastel pinks but are actually deep pinks and reds! 🌺😆)

Spring! 🌸

There is magic in the way Mother Nature wakes up. After a season of quiet and waiting, Spring reminds us that everything begins again.

As a florist, Spring has always brought excitement, but to see it unfold in my own patch that I’ve planted and nurtured brings even more joy.

The first of my petals in the patch series…it’s a pinch me moment, designing with blooms propagated and nurtured by me.

One of my favourite ground gardens.

I didn’t get any professional pics of this one, so I’m glad I had the time to snap a few bts pics
