Completely useless bundle of fluff. Can’t cook, clean, wrap stones or contribute financially—and now he needs a giant paw eye mask for his nap 😂

Night Sky has sold and is on its way to a new home! 💙

This one-of-a-kind Australian Boulder Opal pendant has now been carefully wrapped, boxed and sent off to its new owner.

After several very quiet weeks online, this makes four Madeit orders in around a week—which has been such a lovely and very welcome surprise.

Every order genuinely means a lot to me. Thank you to everyone who has been liking, commenting on and sharing my work—and, of course, to the lovely person who chose Night Sky.

A few days ago, I promised that this gorgeous two-stone piece featuring Ethiopian opal and rainbow moonstone would soon be available—and here it is! ✨

Moon Fire has just been listed in my Madeit store.

The video really shows the beautiful flashes of colour in the opal as it catches the light, alongside the softer glow of the moonstone 🌙🔥

This one-of-a-kind pendant comes with an 18-inch sterling silver box chain, with tracked postage within Australia also included.

One of the lovely moments from Cotton Tree Markets yesterday…

A lady stopped at my stall after spotting my banner and said she recognised the Traced in Stone name. It turned out to be Gaylene, the face behind Gaylene’s Jewellery , a fellow maker and silversmith who’s visiting the Sunshine Coast at the moment!

We had a great chat about market setups, stone sourcing and general maker life, and we exchanged business cards so we could find each other online.

So much of being a maker is spent working away on your own—and sometimes social media feels a little like shouting into the void—so it was genuinely lovely to meet another maker who already recognised my little brand.

Such a small world, and a lovely reminder of the community behind handmade. ❤️

Well, that’s a wrap on the market double-header—phew!

My back aches and my feet feel like they belong to someone else, but it was a great weekend. The sun was shining and, boy, did it make those stones sparkle!

The photos are just a few of the pieces that found new homes this weekend.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a look, a chat or to take a piece home, I met some awesome people!

This week I’ll be back at the workbench making a few special pieces for the Cooroy handmade & artisan festival.

The festival runs from 2–4 October at Cooroy Memorial Hall, 23 Maple Street, and I’ll be there on Sunday 4 October. Pop the date in your diary—I’d love to see you if you’re local! 😊

And I have to admit, this one very nearly didn’t make it. 😂

I’d been looking at Peony Blush lately and thinking she might just have to come out of the shop and join my own private collection… but someone beat me to it!

This beautiful one-of-a-kind piece is now heading off to her new home. 💕
