lia represents Christofle, of course, as the world’s leading silversmith, and Cristalleries de Saint-Louis, as the oldest and most prestigious of all French crystal manufacturers. in Art History and a background in design and architecture, combined with a thorough knowledge of French old-world etiquette, Carline wanted the capability of creating visual statements for her clients’ tables, turning them into unique still-life paintings. In other words, she aimed at helping others set the proper stage for fabulous and stress-free entertaining for all occasions. In 1996 she opened the first Christofle flagship boutique for the South Pacific in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs where it still stands. Overseeing the New Zealand and Pacific islands markets, she has strived to expand the Australian market through a selective and careful distribution.
