Preserving the beautiful original features of a home and honouring its original design intent is such a rewarding part of what we do.

From researching the history and understanding the details, to seeing those elements carefully brought back to life, it is a process we feel genuinely privileged to be part of.

There is a real responsibility in working with a home that has already stood the test of time. The decisions we make now can help carry it confidently into its next 50 years - while still respecting everything that made it special in the first place.

It is an honour, and one we take very seriously.

Our beautiful Mid-Century project in Wollstonecraft.

We had an absolute ball specifying all the beautiful details for our Fairlight project, and one of our favourite features has to be the inclusion of the Centor Australia screen.

These are truly a game changer - seamlessly integrated into our bespoke timber doors without compromising the clean, considered design.

And what a delight summer is going to be for our clients! From enjoying those late sleep-ins to keeping the bedrooms blissfully bug-free, these screens are going to be well and truly put to work.

Such a clever detail, and one we’re so happy we included.

This library space was designed as a home study for clients who are also avid book collectors.

Welcomed through stunning steel doors, the room was created to feel both functional and deeply considered - a quiet place to work, read and retreat.

Every detail was designed to sit in harmony with the beautiful pieces it holds, allowing the collection itself to become part of the character and warmth of the space.

Sometimes it is the smallest design decisions that leave the biggest impression.

A single solid hardwood step.
A beautifully resolved threshold.
A simple detail that feels both practical and quietly striking.

We’re so happy with how this simple decision translated into the finished space.

Reminiscing about this beautiful tallboy. The warmth and character of the natural wood grain add so much to the space.

Positioned directly opposite the bedroom entrance, it was given the perfect opportunity to shine as a focal point in its own right.

Simply beautiful.

Art.

With my love for art and my work with the , art is always on our mind. Especially in my work. Art has the ability to shift the mood of the space. Make it lively, moody or simply finish the space.

My true joy is helping client's find that perfect piece! Some client's have an existing collection that we work into our interior direction, some projects allow us to recommend art pieces. One thing is for sure, it is important that the space feels cohesive and art has a wonderful way of doing just that!

Stone finishes are never a one-size-fits-all decision.

For every project, the brief leads the way. The style of the home, the way the kitchen will be used, the client’s personality, and their willingness to be challenged - in the best possible way - all influence the stone we select.

In some kitchens, one stone becomes the hero on the island, while another works quietly and practically across the main preparation areas. In others, the beauty is in keeping the finish consistent and letting the details speak for themselves.

That is what we love about stone. The options are endless, and each choice can completely change the feeling of a space.

Here are a few of our favourites - different stones, different finishes, and all chosen with intention.

Would you consider using more than one stone in the same space?

Furniture selection. Is it first or last?

The answer is: much earlier than most people think.

Furniture is not just something that fills a room once the renovation is finished. It influences the way a space is planned from the beginning.
The flow, the scale, the lighting, the rug size, the power points, the window furnishings and how the room will actually be used.

A sofa that is too large can overwhelm a room.
A dining table chosen too late can change the lighting plan.
A bedhead can affect wall lights and switch placement.
A rug can define the entire feeling of a space.

Good furniture selection should not be an afterthought.
We like to include it as part of the architecture of how a room lives, feels and functions.

So have a favourite must have chair in mind? Great, let's roll with it!
