Being an entrepreneur has shown me that the real challenge isn’t just building a business… it’s becoming the kind of person who can carry it.

For me, the most meaningful self-discovery hasn’t come from looking inward alone — it’s come from drawing closer to God. The more I seek Him, the more everything about me starts to make sense.

There are always going to be voices telling you who you should be, what you should chase, and how you should measure up. But none of that compares to the peace and direction I find in who He says I am.

These still, quiet mornings — coffee in hand, heart in prayer — bring me back to centre. They remind me not just of my identity, but my belonging. ☕️✨

From blank canvas to buzzing trattoria energy 🍕✨

A transformation we’re proud to bring to life at Italian Street Kitchen, West End, a 228-seater new build designed to feel like stepping into an Italian courtyard tucked within Brisbane’s historic streets.

Think wood-fired pizzas, handmade pasta, flowing drinks at the bar, and interiors layered with warm timber beams, stone, leather, and natural textures that make the space feel both timeless and alive.

Built in just 10 weeks in collaboration with and Group.

There was a time I would never post this.

I would’ve overthought it.
Watered it down.
Made myself smaller.

Not anymore.

You can be rebuilding and still be radiant.
You can be carrying a lot and still walk into a room like you own it.
You can be soft… and still close deals.

I don’t separate the woman from the business anymore.
She is the strategy.

The same intuition that protects my peace
is the one that designs spaces that make people feel something.

The same resilience that’s rebuilding my life

Plot twist.

We designed their North Willoughby home.
Secured the CDC.
Were ready to start.

Then the client get an interstate job offer came.
They sold.
The renovation never happened.

Most people would say, “Oh well.”

Fast forward.

They’re back.
New house.
Bigger footprint.
Better opportunity.

And they called us again. 🥹

That’s the bit I’m proud of.

Because design is one thing.
But trust? That’s earned.

We’re now implementing the original concept into a completely new space and honestly… it’s braver, quirkier and more refined than the first version ever could have been.

Sometimes projects aren’t cancelled.
They’re just upgrading.

Delayed doesn’t mean dead.
It means redesigned.

Then I’m arguing about grout colours.
Then I’m on my third coffee pretending I don’t love the chaos.

This is my version of “balance”.

Running projects across Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast isn’t cute Pinterest mood boards. It’s budgets. Deadlines. Certifiers. Variations. Big decisions with real money attached.

And honestly… I thrive in it.
