I have finally had a chance to test my new tegamini! (tegamino is Italian for “small pans”)🇮🇹

It’s been a journey working with flameware clay. I have had many breakages. It was a surprise to find out that the clay itself is actually hard to work with as it requires to be handled a little different than the clay used to hand build and sculpture. It was challenging and I am still learning the process but I can’t stop making little pans! I am so proud to show you the first two of many more pans to come!🤩

Flameware clay is a special type of clay made to handle direct flames and hold heat really well. It is resistant to thermal shock and can go from stovetop (gas or electric) to oven to table. It can also be used on barbecues and broilers.

Ps. If you’d like mamma’s recipe for the gnocchi sorrentina, let me know in the comments 😋
