Designing this space was a balance between paying respect to the beautiful period features of this heritage-listed building in Paddington, whilst adding some much-needed storage space by incorporating wide drawers, a lift-up corner appliance pantry, and integrated refrigerator drawer.
In finding the balance between old and new, it is important to always consider function and form, and recognize the foundations and heritage of each space
