Interior decoration in its purest & pinkest form.
My very own nursery for my special girl, Joey Summer Butler. Born at 34 weeks last Monday 🌸

A little earlier than expected, but already doing so well. Counting down until we can bring her home.

I’ll be taking some time off from Butlers Lane to spend this time with our little family 🤍

Have a wonderful end to 2024 everyone x

The most beautiful commission piece created by for my client’s Freshwater home.

Titled: ‘The Way The Ocean Falls’
This piece is a representation of light piercing through the ocean.

With a focus on colour as the driving force, Ash used a balance of golden tones, whites, sage, sky blues and dark olive. These tones seamlessly live within the space and work in nicely with the surrounding fabrications. The selections are seen closely in nature which brings the outside in and creates a peaceful space, connection between materials and a sense of grounding and calm.

The once empty wall and void in the combined living, dining & kitchen area is now filled with warmth, tonal balance and texture. The space itself (not shown in the images above) feels complete ✨

A delight to work with the team .house
Thank you all 🙏

These miniature beauties, handcrafted in Japan are the splash back selection for our Mona Vale kitchen project. Inching closer to the bench top being installed and tiles going up.
So deserving for this beautifully patient client after delays on bench top availability.

I can’t wait to see this one completed for them & their family 🤍

I know how tempting EOFY sales can be for everyone, especially given the current financial climate and the desire to save money. Here are some thoughtful shopping tips to help you navigate this period wisely, ensuring you don’t waste your hard-earned dollars on unnecessary purchases.

1. Quality Over Quantity: Opt for pieces that are well-crafted and durable. Look for solid materials and superior craftsmanship that promise longevity.

2. Timeless Design: Choose items with classic designs that won’t go out of style. Avoid trends that might feel outdated in a year or two.

3. Spatial Planning: Before you shop, assess your space and identify what you truly need. This prevents impulse buys that clutter your home.

4. Budget Wisely: Set a budget and stick to it. Allocate funds to key pieces that will enhance your space rather than buying on a whim.

5. Research & Compare: Don’t rush into purchases. Research brands and compare prices to ensure you’re getting the best deal without sacrificing quality.

Remember, great design is about thoughtful curation, not impulse buying. Let’s make this EOFY sale season a time for enhancing our spaces with intention.

A unique take on Modern Mid-Century design for my Freshwater clients ✨

DESIGN BRIEF:

This project involved the interior decoration and styling of a leafy townhouse in the heart of Freshwater. The challenge was to transform the mid-level compact floorplan into a cohesive, functional space. The owners had a strong preference for mid-century style, which has been seamlessly incorporated into the design. High-quality, stylish furniture that met practical needs were sourced to complement the aesthetic.

Key areas included the dining, lounge, and balcony spaces. Elements incorporated a storage solution for the clients’ extensive book collection, beautiful artwork for the dining area, and a custom half-moon cushion designed to support the dining bench seating. Variations of green were integrated to bring the outdoors in and reflect the clients’ love for nature. The outdoor sitting space was carefully curated with specified pots and plants suitable to the aspect, creating a serene and inviting environment.

The final design truly reflected the clients’ tastes and needs. The result is a townhome that exceeds the owners’ expectations, blending beauty with functionality and maximising the available space.

A sunny dining nook in my Freshwater Townhouse project 🌞

I can’t decide which part I love most… the artwork, the dining table & paired bench seat… the custom half moon bolster.

All of the above ☝🏼 plus that streaming sunshine !

It all starts with a colour story and concept board ✨

This particular design is for the dreamiest of homes in Freshwater.

Soft blues will harmonise with the existing space, evoking a feeling of calm. Meanwhile, the vibrant gold accents and layered textures introduce elegance and dynamic contrast.

Custom joinery design for this Ettalong Beach home office 💻

Everything starts with a Colour Story… flick across to see some of the process & what my clients receive to help them visualise their new space. Obsessing over this Green Slate & Metallic Rose colour combination.

Not such a terrible place to work the days away 🤍
