Mel didn’t stop at buying just one piece of artwork. After seeing ‘Africana’ she knew it was a sign from above. Her father Doug Rees, who passed away, was known as saying ‘if anyone wants me, tell them I’ve gone to Africa’. It was a definite sign!! 😇
I love how Mel connected with this piece and how personal it is for her. I hope it gives her many years of happiness 🙏

Lauren Azar is an incredible musician who reached out to me to do a piece for her. She has just released a song called ‘This Is Letting Go’ and I channeled this song as inspiration. This is Lauren as a bad ass pirate who has rose from the muddy and murky waters at the bottom of the ocean.
