At Bloom & Bud, a Sydney startup selling a DYI experience with beautiful flowers, we are now looking for a new, flexible part-time assistant with an interest in flowers.
The job consists of taking care of the assembly of the product and the delivery to our customers. That means that whenever a customer places an order, your job would be picking up the flowers at our storage unit, assembling the box with flowers, including a written card and a booklet and then delivering the box to the customer. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule as orders are unpredictable - however, you can expect around two orders per week.
The job requires a certain level of knowledge of flowers, or at least interest, as you may sometimes need to substitute flowers in the box with a similar kind if we are running low. You will not need to arrange a bouquet, as the customers do this themselves. Moreover, we do not offer any same-day delivery, so it will be possible for you to plan your deliveries, and we only deliver to the Sydney metropolitan area.
As we currently only need someone for a few deliveries per week, we can, unfortunately, not offer any full-time position.
The job consists of 2-3 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who will do the job in exchange for a founder status. That means that you will join our excellent team, where you can share your opinions and pitch your ideas during our meetings.
This job is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights into the startup world. Please be aware that this position is currently unpaid. However, as Bloom & Bud grows - and the sales, as well as your tasks and responsibilities, increase - we will provide you with a salary.
