It started with an old lamp base sitting forgotten in a dusty shed.

Karen’s husband picked it up one day and jokingly said,
“Go on then… find the perfect shade for it.”

What was meant to be a simple search slowly turned into late-night scrolling, vintage inspiration, old-world fabrics, trims, colour palettes, and the realisation that nothing out there quite felt right.

So she started making her own.

Not just lampshades, but pieces filled with personality, nostalgic, expressive, a little cheeky, and impossible to ignore.

And somehow, from one vintage lamp base in a heritage Sydney home, Queen K was born. ⭐
