Nocturne by Konstantin Grcic is currently on show in Milan at the Professional Space, with the installation dedicated entirely to the new modular Nocturne lighting system.

Inspired by the subtle glow of the moon, Nocturne combines direct and indirect light to create an atmospheric, almost ethereal ambience. Crafted from hot-formed borosilicate glass and aluminium, the collection is available in floor, suspension and wall-mounted versions, with either conical or semi-spherical diffusers.

For the installation, Grcic draws on Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, a reference point whose visual language continues to inspire design culture today.
