One of our restaurant projects, tucked in a Melbourne CBD laneway

The interior celebrates rustic materials and craftsmanship, with tactile textures and subtle detailing that make the space feel grounded and approachable.
A floating copper bulkhead, perforated timber ceiling, and open kitchen invite diners into the rhythm and artistry of cooking. Earthy tones, terrazzo, timber veneers, ceramic tiles, and Thai handcrafted artworks create depth and authenticity, bridging vintage character with industrial expression.

Myncie Studio is a fast growing startup and we're on the hunt for a talented and driven Interior Designer to step in as the right hand to our Design Director. You’ll help shape, sketch, and build beautiful spaces from idea to ex*****on. Think of it as the dream role for someone who lives for the details and thrives in the creative chaos of design.�

This is a casual position with the possibility to become full-time to the right candidate

What you'll be doing:
* Assisting the Design Director with all things design
* Strong in preparing a set of documentation and technical drawings
* 3D modelling and visualisation
* Admin coordination to support project workflows
* Getting all designs approved and refined to perfection

What we’re looking for:
* A degree in Interior Design
* 3+ years of hands-on experience
* Detail-obsessed and documentation-savvy
* Excellent communicator (verbally and visually)
* Fast-paced, positive, and self-driven
* Strong documentation skills in Vectorworks CAD 2D/3D
* Proficient in Adobe, Mac, and 3D SketchUp�
