Klaypots Studio small batch ceramics, intimate classes and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners

13/10/2026

We are at 38 members in our private makers space studio!! The plan is to cap our numbers at 45, so make sure to reach out if you are interested or if you have been holding off as I expect this to fill up in the next month or so.

As a business owner it’s really difficult to figure out when the right time is to grow and expand and I couldn’t do this without the support of our awesome customers and membership community. Excited to see the space continue to grow and then figure out what’s next for Klaypots Studio ✨

Check out our new vibes in the studio! Make sure to scroll to the end for the good stuff ✨

I started the studio over 4 years ago, and have rented this space for the past 3, the first year was spent in another space up the road from here. This revamp feels a little like me - a bit older and a bit wiser. We hope our customers love this new feel and find the additions helpful when potting away 🎉

I’ll do a seperate post about costs and my design choices 🌸

You may have noticed that we were closed for most of the long weekend, it was so we could do a lot of painting and make some small changes to our main studio on the Pacific Highway. I can’t believe it has already been 3 years in this space, since I’ve extended the lease it was time for a change, the interior designer in me loves the feeling of a new interior, if you stop by we would love to know your thoughts! We love it 🤍

A big thanks to Claya by Leia • Handmade Ceramics and my parents for the help, many hands make light work, I also promised I helped haha, but I was holding the camera so you can’t see that 😂

Our opening hours are a little different this long weekend! We will be closed most of it to do some painting and small touch-ups in the studio and to have a little catch up before we head into the busiest time of the year!
