Having graduated in Architecture, Post-Graduate Architecture, Fine Arts (Abstraction) and Fine Arts History, I have worked in many aspects of design including theatre, corporate identity and most importantly, building. nd as architectural editor for Better Homes and gardens ...... Becoming Australia’s first renovating designer & on-camera presenter for Better Homes and Gardens TV. Working alongside long time friends and fellow graduates Rob Weir and James Phillips, my design practise has been in tandem with Weir and Phillips for the past 20 years. Whether the job be in the retail, commercial or residential sector i maintain architectural practise is all about the client – how to interpret the clients’ personality, space and opportunities .... And all expressed in a solid practical construction. In short, how to make the client’s environment look marvellous and function beautifully. Putting together one’s living or working environment is one of the biggest physical undertakings of our life-time ....None of us do it all that frequently and we seldom get another chance in the short term. So we owe it to ourselves to get the master plan right...... Before anyone even looks sideways at a hammer. So we systematically assemble your needs into a master plan ...Which prioritises your course of action, taking into account applicable building trends and external forces, then blend and overlay your individual style and the things that are meaningful to you. We’ve found this to be a fail-safe recipe and it is what we love doing.
