Seven years of IF THE FLORIST.

Most days, we’re so busy creating and moving on to the next thing that we forget to look back. Today feels like the right day to pause and appreciate how much we have built.

Thank you, Gui, for believing in me, for seeing how much I love what I do and for trusting this little business enough to make it ours. IF would not be what it is today without you.

But IF has never been just about Gui and I. It is about our team, the people who show up every day, look after our customers, create, organise, clean, pack, deliver and make everything happen behind the scenes.

To every member of our team, past and present, thank you. Every bouquet made, customer looked after, van packed, wedding installed and busy day worked has helped shape IF into what it is today.

To our customers and community, thank you for trusting us with so many important moments. Weddings, birthdays, new babies, celebrations, heartfelt farewells and flowers sent simply to let someone know they are loved.

Some of you have been with us since the beginning. You have watched IF grow, recommended us to your friends and families, and invited us to be part of one milestone after another.

Flowers have always been about people. After seven years, that is still at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to Maroubra & community for supporting us and making us feel at home here.

Some weddings are simply different. 🤍

Rhiannon has been part of our story for so many years. From working alongside us at IF to becoming family, creating her wedding flowers was one of the greatest honours.

There’s something incredibly nerve-racking about designing for someone you love so deeply. You want every stem, every detail, to feel as beautiful as the person receiving it.

Seeing her smile as I handed over her bouquet made every early morning, every mile travelled to Adelaide, and every thoughtful decision completely worth it.

Thank you for the most incredible weekend. It was a beautiful celebration of friendship, love, and the journey we’ve shared over so many years. Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of such a special chapter.
