I am a paper artist who makes things out of paper from wedding and personalised stationery, my own stationery label and bespoke artworks for corporate, viusal merchanising or private collections.

If I have been quiet on socials of late it is because I have been working on this beautiful brand activation for LOEWE Westfield Sydney.

To celebrate Paula's Ibiza Collection launched mid April this year featuring the designs of Jonathan Anderson - the artichoke like to tomato previously is the hero in this years collection. It was such an honour to once again be asked to respond creatively to a clients needs creating these artichokes from paper.

It was lovely meeting the customers over the weekend who watched as I demonstrated or participated making one with my guidance.

School holidays - so good to see families travelling up here to the Blue Mountains. The weather has been faultless this week - clean sweet air, sunny cloudless sky's, perfect for walking.

Some mornings are so worth the effort to catch the sunrise - how lucky am I that this is literally at the end of the street where I live - mountain life 🙌🏻

A floral commission a few weeks ago resulted in this very personal bridal bouquet. Often a favourite bloom or a very personal bloom is required on such a special day - something that holds close to the couples heart.

Banksia flowers represent resilience, strength and renewal, flannel flowers symbolise adaptability and emotional support. For this bride and groom these blooms represented fond memories of growing up with these blooms as they had parents or family that grew them in their gardens.

A bouquet that can become a keepsake.

"I must have flowers always, and always "Claude Monet was not wrong !

Marvellous Ms Merx opened almost 4 months ago in Wentworth Falls - it is an ever evolving concept store where my single blooms are now available because as we all know we must have flowers always !

I have made a combination of ephemeral paper flowers from maps, music, and handwritten pages alongside painted fashion coloured blooms.

These make great gifts.

NGV you have done it again ! I studied graphic design at Swinburne in the 80s 😱Japanese fashion was my obsession and a genre I studied I was so fascinated by the sculptural Rei kawakubo creations at the time - it was the same time we were listening to Malcom McLaren and wearing clothing inspired by none other than Vivienne Westwood these were great times. Such a great exhibition of 2 great fashion designers. Always inspiring to see an exhibition such as this to reset and find inspiration moving into a new year. Looking forward to returning home and getting into the studio. 2026 I look forward to what you have in store 🤞

- paper Christmas bon bon hats ( a must in Australia )✔️

- must be fun ✔️
After a few set backs leading up to this year we nearly didn't get there but we did in the end 🙌🏻

Next time you need to travel from city to city consider driving ! I left booking at this time of year too late to get affordable fares from Sydney to Melbourne. I actually don't mind a long drive. Living in Blackheath It was advisable to go out through Bathurst as there was a truck fire at Yass closing the Hume highway both ways . I finally was able to visit the beautiful old town of Carcoar - WOW 🙌🏻we live in an amazing country, it is worth taking the time to visit as much of it as we can 🙏🏼 consider driving next time.

Yesterday I posted my 'small' Christmas tree in the small house ! Outside is a different story there is a beautiful 'big' spruce with the most beautiful crimson rosella- who needs decorations when these guys are in the tree ! By the way this is Rosie the sweetest little guy you could ever meet 🥰🌲
