A study in light, texture and playful form. ✨
The Fresnel M and Chubby Chair, both by Dirk van der Kooij, bring together two distinctive expressions of his approach to material and 3D printing. The Fresnel scatters light through layers of recycled plastic, creating luminous, ripple-like bands, while the Chubby Chair embraces the playful possibilities of low-resolution 3D printing and extruded plastic.

Together, they create a dialogue between light, colour, texture and form—where technology becomes tactile and distinctly human.

A familiar object, fractured into something unexpected.
Teun Zwets’ Splitted Mirror – Round Silver plays with reflection, perception and the instability of the everyday. Its broken geometry turns a functional object into a sculptural encounter — shifting with the viewer and the space around it.

Teun Zwets’ Splitted Blue Mirror brings together the irregular character of split Douglas fir with a deep, high-gloss blue lacquer. Each fracture and imperfection becomes part of the design, transforming a familiar functional object into something quietly sculptural.

The powder room in Alexandra Brown’s Elizabeth Bay project is anchored by the Goodmoods Editions “Olympic” mirror in terracotta, its bold silhouette and warm tone acting as both object and architectural gesture. Around it, layers of texture and saturation build a “cacophony of colours and textures,” reinforcing the idea that small spaces can carry monumental presence when every detail is considered with intent.

Within Cinderella’s layered interior by YSG, key pieces include the sculptural Bag Chair by Piet Hein Eek, grounding the space with its raw tactility and material honesty. The dialogue continues with the refined utility of The Mag Ceramic Side Table by Daniel Schofield, whose glazed simplicity adds a quiet architectural rhythm to the scene. The TOL 4 Floor Lamp by Dirk van der Kooij, as seen at Studio ALM, plays between weight and levity — recycled plastic and brass forming a stacked totem of glowing rhythm. Sculptural even when switched off, it shifts subtly with its surroundings, revealing warmth, shadow, and material tension.
