Day 1 - I’ve been wanting to do the 100 day project where you pick something you want to make/ create for 100 days.

I’m currently still on mat leave and adjusting to life with 2 little ones so I think this is perfect! I’m going to commit to painting anything that sparks joy for 100 days for a minimum of 10 minutes a day!

Little baby Georgia is now 3 months old but somehow there’s barely any time to sit down and slow down. So I’m hoping this painting project will get the creative juices flowing again 👼

And just like that baby no.2 is here! Things have been quiet in the studio lately while I focus on getting Baby Gigi settled in 💖 It’s been a busy year juggling painting, a toddler and pregnancy life 🙈😊

🌸 Inspired by native flowers taken home after a friend’s wedding, this little original gouache was painted from life (swipe to see the setup). I loved painting the lush and juicy colours of the banksia before the colours faded 💚

Where has the time gone? It’s been a while since I’ve posted so here’s a little update! 🤓 My energy levels hit a new low in the first half of this year as my body focused on making baby no.2! 🥰 My morning sickness has finally eased up and I have a little more energy now. My creativity has slowed down alot but I’ve been quietly working away at commissions, collaborations and painting new works again. I’m still trying to accept that I have to slow down alot more these days but that it won’t be forever!

Thank you to all my lovely customers who have continued to support my little art practice. I’m still currently taking on commissions but will take a little break in a few months time as I’m due in November ☺️✨🌈
