What April taught me 💁🏼♀️
April felt like a tipping point.
Not because everything suddenly became easy, but because I could finally feel the threads connecting between design, fashion, hospitality, art, storytelling and community.
This month was filled with conversations around materiality, craftsmanship and culture. From Material Matters discussions with and , to French wine evenings with friends who remind me how special Singapore’s creative and expat community really is. There were museum visits, long dinners, new friendships and moments that reinforced how much talent, knowledge and creativity exists within this city.
Professionally, April also brought some surreal moments. Atelier V&A being nominated for Best Showroom at the Tatler Homes Design Awards alongside my fab business partner . Being invited to style the Tatler Awards. Launching my first custom branded blazer thanks for trusting the creative process. Recording our first in the Dialogue Table series around Material Matters.
Exploring sustainability conversations through Eco Fashion Week and seeing how much further the industry still needs to go.
But more than anything, April reminded me that I am not simply building an interiors business.
I am building across space, objects, identity and culture.
And for the first time, that direction feels incredibly clear.
Thank you to everyone supporting, collaborating and believing in what we are building. The conversations, encouragement and community mean more than you know 🫶🏼
